Third successful Trade Mission of Brazilian footwear manufacturers held in Russia

From 8 to 10 July 2015 the annual show-room of Brazilian footwear brands took place in Moscow. The show-room was organized by the Association of Brazilian footwear manufacturers (Abicalçados) and by the Brazilian Trade and Investment promotion agency (Apex-Brasil) with assistance of the Dutch consulting agency Lighthouse Russia BV.

In the framework of the show-room a seminar on doing business in Russia was organized by Lighthouse. Participants of the seminar were briefed on the current economic situation in Russia, business environment, the main trends of the footwear market development and the potential of the Russian e-commerce market.

As a result of the business meetings with potential Russian buyers, who were invited from different regions of Russia and Belarus, all of the participants of the show-room recognized that this year’s event resulted to be a success despite the economic instability in Russia.  In total over 30 Russian companies visited the show room.
